@Ella__Dorsey Not just blaming Ella but all ATL meteorologists ought to be ashamed of how they acted this week with all the hype for NOTHING!!!! We went from ice storm warning to just rain and tornado watch. Has to be the biggest swing and miss forecast in Atlanta history.

As if things weren't crazy enough, there is an increasing risk for severe storms south of the city tomorrow afternoon. A spin-up tornado is possible between 1-5pm. Lord Jesus.

Next wknd has a lot of potential, Gulf low showing up on all models with an arctic airmass to work with. GFS/CMC show what happens when gulf moisture meets cold air. These are obviously the fun scenarios, Euro also has the low, but it’s suppressed & keeps any moisture over the Gulf. Lots of time to watch this, but we’ll once again we on watch next week for some winter mischief in the south. #wx

The new European ensemble mean of 4”+ probabilities vs the prior run 6 hours ago. Note the NORTH jump. It’s just simply not a south trend. It couldn’t be anymore obvious than this is here.

It’s ACTUALLY a trend of slower timing. Not a shift in the snowfall. If you work the trend correctly for the total event you’ll see that you are just incorrect. In fact the last frame the newest run clicked NW (not a trend). This is a locked in forecast for this large of an area at this distance. Period.
