Roster construction continues to be an issue. The lack of perimeter offense caps MSU’s offensive ceiling in meaningful ways. Izzo makes the most of his roster, but simply doesn’t construct a nationally contending roster

@Brady_Fred Grimes' breakout didn't happen until the last third of the season because otherwise there probably would've been a ton of complaining about the THJ/Grimes trade if it happened early. Worked out for Pistons because they got a fine starting 2 who was consistent enough

If the Pistons traded one of Ivey, Duren, Ausar or Ron and they pop off in their new home while Detroit gets a veteran player who helps lead them to the ECF or Finals, that's OK. Trades can be beneficial for both sides. There doesn't need to be a winner and loser.
