AA want to pick and choose who is black or not depending how fits their agenda at the given moment. We dominicans don't give them that power or recognition that's why they want to bully us in to submission, we aren't "blacks", we are dominicans!!

Can you really blame him? For months now many out here telling Black people from the Caribbean, Africa, and elsewhere that we’re not truly Black. They’re also dismissing anyone with a lighter complexion as though their Blackness is invalid. People are catching on to this divisive and racist rhetoric, and it’s coming back to bite you all. It’s time to stop with the undertones of discrimination against Black people who aren’t American. Last I checked, when filling out legal documents, I had to check the box for African American—there’s no option for Jamaican American. This Kendrick and Drake situation is exposing the hypocrisy. You’re coming off as racist with these constant attempts to divide us based on shades of Blackness. And don’t even start with the claim that Black people can’t be racist….I’ve seen it on full display for months during this ridiculous rap beef. This obsession over skin tones and origins within the Black community is making us look bad.

Latinos don’t feel the need change skin color is because their culture is more than skin color, it’s food, traditions religion, ect… so for Latinos to be represented they only need to add bits of those in. For black Americans their skin color alone is their culture
