We are saddened to learn of the passing of Coach Jeff Thorne, following his long fight against cancer. Coach Thorne served as the offensive coordinator in 2022.
Thorne joined the Broncos after six seasons as the head coach of North Central College, where he led the Cardinals to a 2019 Division III National Championship (first in program history), and 2021 national championship appearance. Coach Thorne's impact will not be forgotten by the Bronco family, and world of College Football alike.

Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested at the Delaney Hall ICE detention center after an argument with agents. Members of congress here for a scheduled visit, were shoved after trying to include Baraka in conversations after he gained entry through the gate.@news12nj #newark @News12NJ

Thanks to tips sent in from our community, one of the three suspects in the following case was identified and arrested.
Aerion Cashmere James, 37, of Fort Worth, is charged with Aggravated Robbery and remains in the Tarrant County Jail on a $60K bond.

The investigation is ongoing as we are continuing to ask for the public’s help identifying the two remaining male suspects.

The Fort Worth Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects wanted for Aggravated Robbery. On March 13, around 5:00 a.m., two suspects entered the 7-11 store at Hemphill and W Berry. One male suspect wore a distinctive jacket, sweatpants, a mask, and tennis shoes. The second male suspect wore a brown and orange jacket, a full ski mask, and dark pants. The first suspect found the victim (clerk) working in the back of the store. This suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The second suspect walked through the store looking for other people. This suspect then stood at the store door watching the parking lot. The clerk gave the first suspect money. Both suspects calmly walked out of the store. The suspects walked northwest toward the parking lot of a church. The investigation has revealed that about 30 minutes before the offense a silver 4-door pulled into the parking lot, circled the lot, and parked at the gas pumps. A female suspect exited a silver 4-door and entered the store. The female looks around and leaves, making no purchases. The vehicle did not have visible license plates. The rear plate appears to be covered. Suspect 1: Black or Hispanic female, 5’02 to 5’07, over 230 pounds, light complexion, fake eyelashes, tattoos on the upper left and upper right arms, tattoo on upper left back, wearing dark-colored top, blue jeans. Suspect 2: Black male, late teens to mid-’20s, 5’06 to 5’08, medium build, wearing a mask, multicolored hooded jacket, sweatpants, tennis shoes. Suspect 3: Black male, late teens to late 20’s, 5’10 to 6’02 medium build, wearing ski mask, OSU branded brown with orange top, dark pants. Suspect vehicle: Silver 4-door, sunroof, chrome wheels, tinted windows, no front license plate, rear plate covered. Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspects or who has information about the suspects can call Detective Raynsford in Robbery at 817-392-4469. It was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to 20yr old Komodo dragon Hudo. Over the last week his health had been compromised by an irreversible age-related spinal issue. In his 14yrs here he became a favorite of guests & staff & will be greatly missed: ow.ly/mq4K50P8Kf6

This evening, members of our Special Operations Unit excited a search warrant at 3216 Hiawatha Trail. Inside, Detectives located & seized 4 firearms, 60g of meth, 20g of heroin, & 14 grams of suspected fentanyl. Two children, including a newborn baby, were also inside the home. No one was injured.
18yo Hayden Elijah Alcaraz-Ybarra was arrested, & is being charged with 2 felony counts of manufacture/ delivery of a controlled substance.
