Thanks everyone for your interest! Here's a bit more about #Unessay assignment which I modelled after consulting friends, colleagues, and online sources who have done this before.

Last semester, I had students do the "UnEssay" assignment in my 3rd year social psychology course on group processes & intergroup relations.
Students rose to the challenge and absolutely blew me away!!! 😭

Most people think that Long Covid is a lingering cough & bit of fatigue.
I’ve felt flu-like & concussed every time I train for the last 3 years.
For context, I’m a former GB athlete, who trained 3 times a day.
And I’m a mild case...

University of Newcastle Vice-Chancellor Alex Zelinsky took a $70,000 pay rise last year, taking his salary to near $1 million.
At the same time the university recorded a $38 million deficit, had to pay $6.2 million back in wage theft and have been trying to ram through a real wage cut for staff.

Well well well... @Uni_Newcastle management can afford a 7% pay rise to the VC's already exorbitant salary but somehow can't afford to give workers a pay rise for two years

#BREAKING University of Newcastle members vote to strike next Thurs 1st June as we demand management withdraw its Fair Work Commission dispute and return to negotiations in good faith. Staff deserve better, and the community expects better. More details TBC.

On the cusp of reaching agreement with the @NTEUnion for a new enterprise agreement, @Uni_Newcastle management instead opts for non-union ballot that will massively increase workloads, cut real wages and seriously undermine quality education and research at this great university
