I was bored, so I went and looked at new housing construction yesterday. This is the cheapest new detached home I could find in Calgary. $614,900 before taxes. No garage. Remarkably, almost 1,600 ft^2. The lot is 24' wide. It's in a still unnamed community in the north, on land recently annexed from Rocky View County. I believe it will be called Glacier Ridge. It's the farthest north you can get in Calgary. I expected the price to be around $300-$350,000...max.

Just went to Subway. Paid cash. My change was $3.70 She needed a calculator to figure out what coins make up $3.70. 3 times! I told her. She didn’t trust me. On the 4th try, she finally got it. 🤦‍♂️😑

@paulvienneau1 @SpringGardenRd If downtown then yes. I’m not going to take the spot at the front door of a mall or out in bayers lake. There seems to be places for everyone downtown but the ones that make it work. I’d park right in the road for the time it takes to unload.

@paulvienneau1 @SpringGardenRd I’m saying people have jobs to do. If there’s spaces for people who need accessibility there should also be spaces for those who do deliveries to the same businesses. And yes if I had a job to do I’d park On a bike lane, bus lane, sidewalk. What ever space is available.
