@agebats43 It’s a judgement play. Plays like this happen every game and don’t get called. The officials are held accountable every night and face disciplinary actions and/or suspension. It just doesn’t get released like the player safety stuff does

@Mchilvers1 It’s not a vicious cross check by any means. I guess I’d just like to see some consistency in the league. The rules need to be more clear and officials need to be more consistent across the board. They’re not accountable for anything they do.

Gross play 100%, Mcdavid is best in the world no doubt. But just wanna know what people think about that cross check before getting the puck? Penalty or no. I’ve seen that called and then not called. No consistency in the league, or any league for that matter.

@agebats43 Either way no penalty for me. It’s more of a push and Chabot who’s a top d in the league is expecting some sort of contact from him. He’s playing bad defence on this play and mcdavid shouldn’t get penalized for that

@Mchilvers1 It wasn’t in OT though. And even so, if it was in OT, why not just keep the rules the same all the time, no matter what, regular season, playoffs, overtime. No discrepancies if the same rule is implemented all the time. Just my opinion.
