So, apparently as a writer, this is a bit of a controversial take: When I write, I want it utterly silent. No TV, no music, no background music. Does anyone else like to write like this?

We are learning about @ZonesOfReg and our characters are Rock Brain and Rex Flexinator. We learned how Pete The Cat uses his flexible thinking when his white shoes turn red, blue, brown and wet. Does Pete cry? Goodness no!! @mckenzie_lake

During #indigenousveteransday we learned about code talkers. We learned a few different ways to make secret codes and send messages in different ways.

I’ve heard Kinders with big vocabulary but this one caught me off guard!! Working on our daily rhyming work. T- what is a word that rhymes with late? S- eradicate!!! T- 😳🤯 uh…. I’m not sure I can spell that and, no, I don’t want you to tell me what it means!! @mckenzie_lake

Sometimes Mona Lisa feels like a fox!!

Making the first part of our Sometimes I Feel like a Fox portraits. And here we have the Mona Lisa of Kindergarten! I wonder what animal she is feeling like today?! @mckenzie_lake @MLSCommunity

Predict what will happen next in the story- we read Big Pumpkin and created a new character that could help get the pumpkin off the vine. Ss are soooooo creative! 🥰

We added a sensory bin with pine cones, leaves, acorns, cinnamon sticks, and some other fun items! This quiet little girl had a lot to say about this- she told me all about the pie she made for squirrels and how much they would enjoy it!! 🥰 this is why I teach!!! @mckenzie_lake

Today we were experimenting with mixing colours to get our skin colour- and YES we were painting on ourselves! It was for good reason though! We had to get the skin tone just right!!! 👍🏻😄 ⁦@mckenzie_lake⁩ ⁦@MLSCommunity⁩
