@JoeAntique @JamesTCobbler They pay their employees a decent enough wage that it’s not an issue.

This is a clocking in and out machine. Every business we have taken over had these, and we have removed them all on day 1. We trust our colleagues to do their job...we don’t need machines like this to check up on them.

The people plonked in supermarket pods get nowhere near that.

If you find our shops a bit short staffed this week, I’m sorry. We have a colleague benefit where you get an extra day off when your kids have their first day at school, so a number of colleagues are doing a very special job away from their shops!

@tomose88 @dionneglen @JamesTCobbler Staff were never paid 100% during furlough no overtime or bonus was claimed which makes up for the minimum wage they get even as branch managers. Vast majority now in financial difficulty due to the pay received during furlough some less than £1200 a month.

@tomose88 @dionneglen @JamesTCobbler They paid 20%, they still used the government furlough scheme for the other 80%. Most staff still didn't clear £1000 a month as the basic salary is low.
