This evening is the STEAM Fair at Indian Valley Elementary Center   The students did an absolutely great job presenting this evening Great job, IVEC students who participated in the STEAM Fair   #GoHuskies!

Some of the classes at East Derry Elementary School had the opportunity to engage in hands-on STEM learning today through working with the TIU#11 STEM Rover   The students were designing custom gliders, taking into account physics and engineering   #GoHuskes!

Mifflin County Middle School is full of energy tonight!   The MCMS Student Council is hosting a March Madness Activity Night, packed with fun for everyone. From cornhole and capture the flag to indoor bowling, hula hooping, and more—there’s something for all to enjoy #GoHuskies!

Students at IVEC had a great opportunity to engage in hands-on STEM learning today!   This morning, students in Mr. Cramer’s class designed gliders using computer software and then brought their ideas to life with laser engravers, carving them into wood.   #GoHuskes!

This morning, U.S. Representative Dr. John Joyce visited the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology to see firsthand the incredible work happening in our classrooms and labs. During his visit, Rep. Joyce toured Mechatronics, Welding, and Culinary Arts   #GoHuskies!

Dane Ufema, a student at Mifflin County High School, has been selected as a Youth Ambassador through the Harrisburg District Office, becoming the first student from both the Harrisburg District Office and the MCSD to participate in this program #GoHuskies!

Mrs. Yoder’s Grade 5 class at Lewistown Intermediate School has been hard at work creating Valentine's Day cards to present to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital as part of an upcoming heart health event.   #GoHuskies!

National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day is Sunday, February 15, 2026.   The Mifflin County School District is extremely fortunate to utilize the services of the following four (4) School Resource Officers   Thank you for your service     #GoHuskies!

This afternoon, the MCHS 9th-grade girls’ basketball team is playing State College Area High School   The team is playing extremely well   The Huskies are up 34-8 at the half.   #GoHuskies!

On February 4, 2026, an outstanding group of 4th and 5th-grade students from Lewistown Intermediate School took their love of reading to the next level at the TIU Reading Competition!   #GoHuskies!

Mifflin County Middle School had three (3) champions at the TIU Reading Competition yesterday.   Mia Clark, Lennin Ruble, and Adalyn Lutz (Team name: Bookaneers) won first place out of 19 teams competing.     #GoHuskies!
