for now it's manageable - issue takedowns etc, but i can imagine it wont be long before it's an endless whackamole game of countless AI tracks trying to leverage existing artists' profiles/names. smdh. and also grateful vinyl and CDs dont have a fact/fiction problem

the amount of AI music being published by bad actors to real, acclaimed artists' (both dead and alive) streaming profiles is insane. crazy that there's no safeguards stopping unauthorized parties submitting music to DSPs in the name of artists they have nothing to do with. 1/2

Just found out that Bob Power just passed away . Bob is an advocate and ambassador for great music . Engineer , Philosopher, Teacher , Student . His contributions will far outlast his life . His life touched so many . No words can describe his contributions to the music I love.
