Finally got my thoughts straight on Black History Month, something I’ve been struggling to verbalize for years. Shortest possible version: our history makes no sense without the full inclusion of Black history, and that’s part of why we are so historically ignorant

If you have a problem with those four men listed, that’s fine. But your problem can’t be that they’re fascists because that’s historically illiterate.

@LiviaBellona @KevinMKruse Hello! That’s an incredibly stupid response. One of those men died almost 100 years ago. The most recent of those men today died more than 45 years ago. None of them have anything to do with the current news cycle. Do you have a learning disability?

As a very devout Agnostic, sometimes I get so sick of the lazy, facile, anti-intellectual hatred of religion that some of my atheist, agnostic, secular friends display towards religion. These people act like they are free from irrational inconsistent beliefs. They are not.

This lady stepped into the crosswalk across the street from me as I was making a left turn at a difficult intersection, and I slammed on the brakes about 20 feet away from her and signaled her to continue and she jumped back on the sidewalk and started screaming ASSHOLE at me

I have a conversational qualitative interview process that takes like an hour or an hour and a half. I’m developing a handbook for my organization that will help people use their time well, respect others time, and to avoid burn out and leave time for all the stuff they love.
