@jackshephards_ Kate didn’t kidnap her baby. Clara abandoned him on a leaf next to a boar path. Kate saved him from getting lost in the foster care/adoption system. Aaron was alone. Kate knew how it felt to be abandoned. Kate was protective of Claire, and Aaron. So she adopted and loved the baby

thinking about jack… jack’s core belief early on is that people can choose to be better and kate is the first person he offers that to. he didn’t need the details of her past. he saw kate’s courage, her instinct to help and her loyalty.
