After Prom Committee would like to invite all Junior and Senior parents to a meeting tonight at 6:15 in the High School Cafeteria. This meeting will conclude prior to the Winter Sport parent meeting.

Winter Sport Parents: Please join us for a meeting tonight in the High School cafeteria at 7PM. We will have a short welcome followed by team meetings. Girls will go the HS Library and Boys will go to the HS Auditorium

Due to extensive storm damage, Meade High will not have school tomorrow 8.30.24. Meade Elementary WILL BE in session as normal. All activities are still on as planned.

CALLING ALL BUFFALO FANS... we need your help!! Come line the streets for a send-off to wish Johnny McAtee good luck at State Golf on Monday morning 5/20. They'll leave the HS at 7:15am, head west on Walnut, then north on Hwy 23. Let's come out, be loud, and him on 🏑💪🦬!!

Our spring Athletic Banquet is coming up on Thursday, May 30 @ 6pm. The Booster Club will be providing pulled pork, buns, drinks, and table service. We are asking families whose last name begins with A-M to bring desserts and N-Z to bring side dishes. Hope to see you there!!

Congratulations to Brock Keith for being selected to the KCBA All-Star basketball team!! This is a huge honor as he was selected from all classes statewide to play in this summer's game on June 22nd. More Buffaloes doing BIG things 💪🦬🏀!!

Our HS golf team played in their Regional tournament today at Syracuse. Congratulations to Johnny McAtee for placing 7th overall and qualifying for State! We wish him luck as he goes to compete early next week. Great season gentlemen!!

The HS Choir went to Lone Tree today to perform some of their music selections from the spring season. It was such a blessing on both sides! Thank you to our students for continually giving of their time and talents to share with others. So proud of our Buffaloes!

We want to congratulate our State Forensics performers on their success in Wichita on Saturday. Holly broke semi-finals in poetry at Champs and Ashley received a 1 for her prose at Festival! Great job, Buffs!!

Congratulations are in order for senior Bradon Bird on signing with Pratt Community College to play basketball next year! Another MHS Buffalo going to the ranks of college athletics. Good luck, Bradon!

Liz Hawley will be a Lark next year! Congratulations to Liz and her family as she signed with Hesston College today to be an innagural member of their new weightlifting team!

Congratulations goes out to Logan Keith and his family as he signs his letter of intent with Pittsburgh State University! We wish you all the luck as you head out to run with the Gorillas next year.

Our HS students enjoyed getting outdoors for a few minutes today to view the amazing eclipse. Thank you to Ms Coles for educating us about what we were viewing, our local Library for donating all of our protective glasses, and to Mrs Hewitt for making "eclipse cookies" to enjoy!

Our HS musicians had an amazing day at Regional Solo and Ensemble contest at Dodge City today. All nine events received 1 ratings! Great work Buffs... on to State Music at Tabor College later this month 🦬🏅🎼!!

Congratulations to our HS men's tennis team on taking 1st place at the Cimarron meet today! Way to go, Buffs 💪🎾🦬!!

Cade Cronister signs with Pratt Community College! He will become a member of the PCC Rodeo Team this Fall Congratulations Cade!

Our men's and women's HS basketball teams ended their seasons tonight at the Sub-State finals. They both played tough games and ended up with runner-up plaques on the evening. Great players, great coaches, and great seasons. We stand Buffalo Basketball proud!

AND... congratulations are also in order for our HS boys basketball team for their 67-50 win over Sublette last night! This advances them to semi-final play vs Medicine Lodge on Friday @ 7:30pm here in Meade. We hope to see everyone out to cheer them on!!
