@MeanLevee Yes I feel awesome about that because you repeatedly acted like I’m stupid and now I can laugh at how you were acting so smug while being so wrong 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 I feel like a million bucks!
English

@MeanLevee Hey so just letting you know Gooseworx confirmed Jax is an abuser, specifically towards Gangle in the context of this screenshot, so you can’t act stupid anymore 😊😊😊😊

English

@lucedellstelle @GwenLovesMovies Yeah. I've run into to some of those weenies.
English

@MeanLevee @GwenLovesMovies I think that's related to the fact that there are a lot of people harassing everyone who expresses their love for Jax. They claim that expressing love for him is excusing or even justifying his/her actions
English

@shydaKKo @GwenLovesMovies Personally, it's not my style to add a lot of qualifying clauses to water down what I'm saying. It's pancakes and waffles again.
English

@MeanLevee @GwenLovesMovies Fair, still it's just people having nuance dude. Also safeguard for their sanity to avoid dealing with fans who may rabidly accuse you of being pro-abuse if you don't hint being able to hold two truths.
English

@MeanLevee @GwenLovesMovies What? It's literally a good thing that folks still open to mourn her situation while practicing "explain, don't excuse" for a character that still became abusive when we live in a reality full of shitty people who mostly get away with it cause "explain AND excuse" more common.
English

@JasonHirsch16 @RasberryRazz Thematically, I don't know if he's as important as the others. The other women are her shadows, and Bill is her lover. He's killed by her shadow, and indirectly by her sword. I think he is a reprise of Bill metaphorically putting her in a coffin, so she can rise from the dead
English

@MeanLevee @RasberryRazz Would you say this is why Madsen's character technically defeats her? Because she wasn't completely ready yet to defeat her groomer (Madsen being Bill's brother basically makes him a stand-in for Bill himself)
English

I honestly deserve a $10,000 bonus for this idea.

@toxiquid White Mage from Final Fantasy 1. He/she would be like Pokemon trainer and rotate in three(preselected) of the five other classes.
English

@yoyofightthee @M00NBUGGIES @fionasbutchwife Maybe. But those doors with Xs might have been a mystery, because Caine loves to dodge difficult questions, and Kinger doesn't always make sense when questioned directly
English

@MeanLevee @M00NBUGGIES @fionasbutchwife I do think it’s inferable that they likely found out at some point beforehand, but yeah Kinger would be the only human that knew what abstraction looks like and what it is, and the others would likely only know in theory.
English

@yoyofightthee @M00NBUGGIES @fionasbutchwife Ribbit was the first one this new group saw abstract. Caine never brought it up when he was doing indoc for Pomni, and Kinger is not likely to bring it up. How would they even know it's possible? As far as they know death is totally off the table. They found out the hard way.
English

Someone mentioned how a lot of the circus members were guilty of the bystander effect and I honestly think that’s 100% intentional. Like, nobody in the circus reached out to Ribbit when she was isolating herself (the only time we see someone consider it is with Jax of all people), and we see that nobody was taking Kaufmo seriously when he was presumably freaking out over seeing an exit.
I can see Ragatha potentially reaching out to Gangle and trying to make things better for her like in this picture, but I can totally see how that would ultimately just become Ragatha shouting at Jax whenever they give Gangle a hard time. But I think everyone in the circus was somewhat too caught up in their own heads to really take the time to make things better for everyone.
Low key, Pomni’s “we’ve all done bad things” line is starting to make way more sense ngl
English

Strange that nobody ever brings up that Gangle doesn't do anything to help her, and just leaves her in there.
Sombra ♡@ShadowKyuu
Me da risa que siempre ponen el ejemplo de Jax siendo la peor persona del mundo tirando a Ragatha a la freidora como si no todos nos hubiéramos cagado de risa con eso (ahora vienen los únicos y diferentes que no)
English

@MeanLevee Nobody else feared retribution from Jax in the same way she did in the gun episode. Its made pretty clear that Gangle is a particular punching bag for Jax, and has been basically since she arrived.
English

Genuinely Jax is like a High School bully whose just vaguely antagonistic and annoying at worst but because she’s surrounded by a bunch of hugboxers people’s standard for normal human behavior is completely skewed within the fanbase
xiv 💥@bakujok3s
my hot take is that jax is such a level one messy neurodivergent character that when you compare her to other characters she looks like an angel but in the show itself where she’s the ONLY ONE who creates conflict other than caine it feels like she’s the devil from the bible 😭
English

@seraphel_ @The_Cultist_ Well, you're entitled to your opinion, but she seems like an already fragile person in the same tough spot everyone else is in.
English

@MeanLevee @The_Cultist_ I think the Ragatha fryer shit is way overhyped but I think you're overcompensating on the Gangle stuff. Gangle is very clearly meant to be an abuse victim, which is why her emotional baggage is what it is in the last episode.
