This so-called "boom" is being paid for by you and powered almost entirely by remittances from Somalis here in America, the country's second-largest economic driver after livestock, channeling billions annually. We are literally paying for Somalia's prosperity through remittances, and you know much of it stems from lLLEGAL labor and from the US taxpayer being defrauded through massive U.S. welfare schemes in places like Minnesota, where billions in taxpayer dollars, with estimates of up to $9B+ across programs, have been stolen in scandals heavily involving the Somali community and funds laundered back home.
