To be transparent, I did not match for GI fellowship this year. But I am so blessed from all the support I have received from my program, family, and friends. I am at peace and I know this is not the end. Just like Aaliyah said “you have to dust yourself off and try again.”

Emergency Medicine Residency complete! It's a surreal feeling. Truly the hardest thing I've ever done. Started in the midst of a pandemic. Witnessed the unthinkable. I'll be reflecting on this experience for the rest of my life bc wow... I really did THAT! 🤗

This is my dear friend, Nakita. Nakita and I were medical school classmates and both interns in New York City. Nakita tragically took her own life on May 26. She is such a beautiful soul. She was so fun to be around. She was intelligent, charismatic, and confident. (1/x)
