On #WorldFisheriesDay we went on national TV to show how #fishers, officers and chefs are stepping up to help sharks and rays — from reducing accidental catches to offering shark-free menus.

Only 6 ISRAs are known for eagle rays in the Med.
Now 9 more hotspots emerged - in Italy alone!- through @LifeEUsharks #citizenscience campaign! Not random sightings but regular, seasonal presences - strong enough to propose as new #ISRA. And that's just the beginning! #EEA2025
