JD recently pointed out that Europe is in the curious position where it wants to both regulate American citizens and freeride off of the U.S. for protection.
But the U.S. has no obligation to tolerate that sort of treacherous behavior. So now it won't.

Frustrating mock scenario at work.
As per recent studies and UK protocols I gave GTN/Nitro to my patient with an inferior STEMI (cautiously) after obtaining an IV and a BP.
I ‘failed’ this because in Canada it’s a contra indication, WHEN will this country get with the times?!

Trauma centres are essential. In peel we have been trying to expand trauma centre reach for years but red tape has had @Peel_Paramedics tied up. Paramedics can only go to trauma centres within 30 min drive. 60 min is safe & would allow us to provide more appropriate care

Unfortunately @Peel_Paramedics won’t exist soon if the transition board has their way. Instead you’ll be getting lower quality care from a lower-tier municipal agency. Patients will suffer. Reach out to let the board know if you’d like our world class service kept as is.
