There are about 100K more requested VBM ballots than at the same time in 2023, the last Supreme Court election. Vote patterns have shifted since then, but a less blue EV than '23 and bluer than '24 is the current status. 3 seats are up for retention this year - very important!

The House Republicans will have a majority tinier than Trump’s hands. They’ll need every swing district R to cast career ending votes. One of the reason I’m bearish on real elections in the future.

My stepson was 2 when I married his mom. After about a year we moved onto post. We were meeting the neighbors and he was asking who everyone was. The neighbor boy pointed at me and said "Who is that?" He looked at me quizzically and said "Myyyy....Mr. Fred?" The next morning he came in for breakfast and said "Good morning, Dad!" and that was that. Still one of the most heartwarming moments of my life.

In 2005, George W. Bush tried to privatize Social Security. The more he talked about it, the less popular it became. Republicans are still trying to destroy Social Security, but now they want to do it sneakily, behind closed doors. We won't let them.

If anyone tries to destroy Social Security and steal our earned benefits, they will pay a heavy political price.
