On a serious note, I actually do like the hyperrealistic detail Illumination gives to the mario world its a interesting aesthetic decison makes it more believable for an animated movie than a video game

One thing I immediately noticed is that Jessie confronting the Lilypad device on the bed is a mirror to when Woody went to confront Buzz on Andy's bed all the way back in TS1; albeit with a lot less tension
