We’re barely 10 minutes into the Stefon Diggs trial, and Mila Adams has already stated multiple times that she doesn’t understand questions about what she texted Cardi B. It was a straight forward question that attorney Sara Silva had to rephrase several times. She’s also been instructed to “just answer the questions with yes or no.” I’m not sure I can finish this cross.

Mila Adams, Stefon Diggs’ former chef who has accused him of felony assault, has been admonished by the judge multiple times during her testimony today. Her statements have at times been inconsistent, and she has appeared argumentative on the stand. I’m not sure she wanted this to go to trial, after all.

It is astounding that the Stefon Diggs case is being tried on the uncorroborated word of the prosecution's "star witness." That she is an unreliable witness was known months ago. This was always going to be a train-wreck of a trial. This case never should have been prosecuted. Once again, the real questions should be directed to the Norfolk DA and their judgment/ prosecutorial discretion.
