As therapists, we will be working with ppl who may feel unsafe in the UK due to riots and ongoing unrest. While we hope this will end soon, the seeds of fear might continue to grow in minority groups experiencing racism. My heart is with all of you doing this demanding work🙏🏽❤️

While there may be some truth to concerns raised, it's important to note that IAPT provides evidence-based therapies, ensures cost-effectiveness, allows for self-referral and accessibility, and maintains quality assurance measures.

@MeeraBahu @BABCP @psalkovskis I quite like CBT, but not the manualised version used by UK Talking Therapies/ IAPT. That's about marketing, financial gain and monopolising the marketplace. A further move to support NHS service prioritisation ???? Therapist's need to speak out.
