@WardyNYM I think as long as you have two consistent voices doing this it's fine. It seemed the dynamic the way we had it wasn't that. Considering we are hiring internally to begin with I have to assume that will be the case going forward.

Albert, 44, served as hitting coach for the St. Louis Cardinals and joined the Mets in 2022. New York’s farm system is teeming with good young bats, and the plan is to have Albert run hitting at the major league level and complement him with another hitting coach, sources said.
