It is with great sadness that we have to report the passing of John Stew, former Chair of the Friends of Grace Road and formerly the Catering Manager for Leicestershire County Cricket Club after a short illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 🏆 Toast a year like no other alongside the Foxes players & coaches at a unique celebratory dinner this December. 🍽️ The evening will celebrate a historic season with the presentation of the Club’s annual end of season awards. 🦊

Leicestershire CCC is extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former Catering Manager John Stew, who has passed away at the age of 66. John's legendary culinary skills were revered by many, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 💚

So special. We’ll never get bored of this moment 💯🤩

The Friends of Grace Road are holding their annual General Knowledge quiz on Friday 10th November in the Charles Palmer suite at Grace Road. Hot food will be laid on as well so come and test your knowledge. For more details see below ⬇️

Tuesday and Friday saw two more winners of the Friends 50/50 draw each receiving £500. Many congratulations to them both.

Thanks to the efforts of volunteer servers and loyal customers we had a complete cake sell out at the match v Glamorgan. Our bakers will have to be busy before the next home match v Sussex 11th - 14th May
