Something I keep seeing with successful solopreneurs: The business has a strategy. Marketing has a strategy. Pricing, client pipeline, offers. All of it has been thought through and intentionally built. But their personal financial life? Mostly just... happening. A retirement account that hasn't been touched in years. A savings account doing whatever savings accounts do. A vague plan to "look into the tax stuff eventually." Quarterly payments made under deadline pressure. None of it is wrong. But none of it is connected. No thesis. No real picture of where the money is going or what it's supposed to compound into. And it's not a discipline problem. It's a bandwidth problem. The same person who built a high-margin business doesn't have 200 hours to also become their own CFO. So the financial life gets handled the way busy people handle things they don't have time for: in fragments and reactively. The cost is invisible until it isn't. Tax inefficiency quietly draining returns. Capital sitting in the wrong places for years. Decisions that needed to happen two years ago that still haven't. It shows up as a gap between what you've earned and what you actually have, or could have. Most solopreneurs have a strategy for everything except their own money.
