Gurmukhi is a Sikh script made for Sikhs, nothing to do with Punjabi Muslims. Based on Landa, Sikhs modified it to create their own original script. If you dislike the Arabic script we used before Gurmukhi existed, make your own from Landa. That's more original than copying Sikhs

Before Islam, both the Persians and our ancestors used to use the archaic Aramaic script which was less developed than the Arabic one.
We’ve been using Semitic scripts for over 2500 years, now we use the better one.

@Meethasoda Can't you read? Abhiyar is written not Abhira or Ahirand. Also Abhira was a country in 11-12th CE not a tribe According to Prabhodha Chandodaya. Also Abhira (cowherd) was described by Hemchandra as a profession of Vaishya not Kshatriya caste not as a tribe!
