@ashbinks2588 Oh thank the Lord! Praying so hard for you and Landon. As a new mom I can’t imagine what you are going through . You are an incredibly strong woman/mama! 🙏
He’s stable in the PICU on high flow oxygen. They are working to find out what’s going on. I know the level of care on this floor is exceptional so he is in the right place.
@RoyallyBelle_@lovefamilywales I wore this exact outfit for my rehearsal dinner! She’s so impressive in heels. I could only wear mine a few hours! But they are stunning.
Dear university community,
Winter Storm Fern has left significant and heartbreaking damage across our campus, our homes and our region. Recovery will take time, and it will take all of us united in resilience.
Today, we announced that our campus will remain closed through Sunday, Feb. 8. While our teams have worked tirelessly to restore operations, the impacts of this storm go far beyond our campus. The people of our city and county, including thousands of students and employees, are facing the loss of power and water, internet and cellular connectivity issues and intermittent access to food and fuel. Our focus remains on keeping our people safe, and that means acknowledging that we are part of a larger community in crisis.
Conditions remain hazardous with ice on roads and walkways, inoperable stop lights, downed trees and power lines as well as falling ice as temperatures fluctuate. I urge everyone to avoid non-essential travel on campus, both on foot and by vehicle, so our recovery teams have the space they need to work safely and diligently.
In the midst of this devastation, we have witnessed the extraordinary strength of our community and the unwavering dedication of those who have cared for our students. Our housing staff, dining teams, facilities crews, police and emergency responders and so many others have gone above and beyond, working around the clock in difficult and dangerous conditions. We are so grateful to each of them, and to our first responders and community partners.
Updates will continue as recovery progresses and as we are able to safely restore full operations. Until then, please continue to exercise caution, look out for one another and draw strength from the incredible community that surrounds us.
Sincerely,
Glenn F. Boyce
Chancellor
We felt bad about buying their coach, so we loaded up and headed north to help our @OleMiss friends stay warm and fed! Football is only a season, but neighbors are all year long! ♥️💙💜💛
