That’s not crude at all, you just have a shallow way at looking at films. Superman(2025) did great at the box office and made a profit.

Something was always coming after it because WB/DC Studios have nothing else, changing stuff & with merger on the horizon, so it was best to try keep making some money going forward like latter DCEU.
