I know doujinshi don't sell well in AA but my selfish request is every artist compile their work into books so I don't have to keep collecting charms/posters that I have no way to display. We can even convince ourselves that real books are retro so it's cool to collect them now.

@chiyometaldeath I think norcal (or at least the BA) has plenty of wotas ready to embrace the cringe. It's mostly vtuber fans, but a lot of them will check out irl idols if given the chance I think. Trapped in socal, I wish I could help. It really is a big commitment to jump into running events.

I wish NorCal had #kaigaiidol scene, like... at all. Or at least idol events not tied to a convention. I want taibans. I want offkais. I want guerilla lives and birthday events and community that I don't have to drive to SoCal for.
