I’ve mostly seen the excitement, hype, and positive messages about Wotagei World Cup USA qualifier event, and I’m so happy that so many people enjoyed the event. But I also know there are some people who walked away feeling disappointed, discouraged, or even questioning themselves. This message is for those wilted and saddened hearts. I know this sounds extremely cringe and like an anime protagonist speech, but I truly believe that the moments where we feel the most defeated are often the moments where we have the biggest opportunity to grow. It’s through difficult experiences that we learn resilience, learn to accept ourselves, and continue sharpening ourselves as uchishi. Last weekend, Latte shared a message with my SanFlare members who were feeling discouraged after their performances at OffKai Expo: "Failed wotagei performance can only be redeemed by another wotagei performance. You cannot run away." This message has really stayed with me. If you are feeling disappointed in yourself or thinking about giving up, I hope you take a moment to reconsider. Don’t let one difficult moment become the end of your journey. Use it as fuel. Find that spark again. Keep growing. Your next performance is still waiting for you, and I’ll be cheering for you.

OFFKAI GEN 5 🗣️ Shocker, shocker, my ass took that portal to Earth to go see the crazy, and it was definitely crazy. It’s super cringe, but if I could properly explain how I felt about the whole weekend, I’d probably throw up from it. So no. 🤮 With it being my first OKE, I didn’t expect much if anything at all, and I am so like… Shocked. I’m just so fuckin’ shocked, man. From the amount of you lined up at my meet and greet to the giant fuck ass flag that like 10 different people sent me before I even got to the con, I’m so incredibly honored and flattered. The fact that there were 10 booths that had Ava fan merch and so many of you participated in the Variance Project maid stamp rally is insane! I even got to participate in Pixel Parade (one day I’ll remember to teach everyone my penlight color is Hot Pink). These are all things that happened as a VTuber that’s been barely debuted a year. IT’S SO CRAZY! I N S A N E EVEN! OH AND — All weekend I kept hearing about how kind, respectful, and sweet the Avalution was, and I don’t EVER say this but: I’m so proud! That’s the type of shit you always wanna hear as a streamer. Keep be fuckin’ nice and respectful! The Avalution always has manners! 🫵 You guys calling staff a bitch and getting bashful about it was also funny as fuck HAHAHAHAHAHAHA From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in the Avalution as much as I do. Thank you to all of the artists and friends that drew me and invested in having me at their booth, thank you to the Hawties that took the time to cheer for me, scream for me, and spread the word of the Avalution, thank you for looking out for each other and still finding a way to make Hawties that weren’t OKE part of the fun. Dragonoids don’t experience this much love and support on Feyras. I worked hard this OKE, and I hope that I can bring that to this coming VeXpo, too.
