The long continuous shot used to be a sign of a filmmaker operating at a very high level—think The Copa scene from Goodfellas. Now there’s an obligation to have one in every movie/show and they all look like a video game to me

@s_Helman5 This moment reminds me a lot of The Stanley Parable Adventure Line (if you haven't played it I heavy recommend), where the narrator/creator respawns Stanley and changes the layout of the workplace and asking him to navigate via the lane.
