@wada_ama THE FALLOUT: It’s not development. It’s athlete trafficking. These athletes are treated like short-term investments Meanwhile, clean athletes lose out. And scarce scholarships/roster opportunities are pulled from U.S. high schoolers. I believe we can do better.

🗣️ “I was constantly like, ‘I used to be able to do this, I used to be able to do that…’ It felt so good to be like, ‘I’m back and doing things as good as I know how to do them, which I haven’t done in a while. It felt really good!” After winning the Hypomeeting in Götzis with 7032 points, @annaahalll now sits second on the all-time heptathlon list, tied with Carolina Kluft and trailing only her mentor, the great Jackie Joyner-Kersee. That mark was achieved with four personal bests, including a gutsy 2:01 in the 800m – a reminder that the final event of the heptathlon was more than a win; It was a comeback statement after last summer's heartbreaking fifth place finish at the Paris Olympics. 🎧 In this conversation, Anna opens up about the emotional weight of that Olympic result, the rehab process after knee surgery, and how this performance in Austria healed her. She's looking to become just the second American to win gold in the heptathlon after Jackie Joyner-Kersee won in 1987 and 1993. Anna is the kind of athlete who competes with heart, guts, and joy. ▶️ SPOTIFY: open.spotify.com/episode/2pbogt… ▶️ APPLE: podcasts.apple.com/nz/podcast/ann…

NEW: Tim Walz says he was picked by Kamala Harris because he could "code talk to white guys" who watch football and fix trucks. This guy is such a dork. Walz is still shocked that America didn't vote for the "most qualified person" in U.S. history. "I could code-talk to white guys watching football, fixing their truck. I was the permission structure to say, 'Look, you can do this and vote for this.'"

Wild: Tennessee QB Nico Iamaleava is holding out of spring practice as he and his reps seek an NIL deal worth ~$4M per year, per @ClowESPN Iamaleava signed an NIL deal worth $2M per year in 2022, is looking to double his salary and has been in negotiations with Tennessee. What happened to college football 😔
