Update on ETH exploit on Meta Pool: - All ETH staked on Meta Pool is SAFU. - The amount that was taken by the attacker is approx $47,000 USD - The exploit affected the fast unstake functionality, allowing the attacker to mint mpETH. - The attacker minted around 10,600 mpETH. - Most of the mpETH from the attacker was used to drain the swap pools on ETH. - ETH mainnet affected swap pools: Meta Pool fast unstake pool, mpETH<>wETH and mpETH<>USDT on Uniswap. - Optimism affected swap pools: mpETH<>wETH on Velodrome (OP), mpETH<>wETH on Linex and Algebra (Linea). Actions taken by our team: 1) Working with the Blocksec team to provide a fix to the issue in the next 12hrs. 2) No security issues found on the rest of supported staking contracts: Aurora, Internet Computer, NEAR, Q, Story and Solana. 3) Deliver a contingency plan for those users that were affected by the exploit. 4)Pause the mpETH smart contract and disable transfers for the next 24hrs. The Meta Pool team is working fast to deliver a solution as soon as possible.

Attention Community, We would like to inform you that earlier today an attack was detected on the mpETH contract on Ethereum, which resulted in the unauthorized minting of tokens via the mint() function. We are reviewing the impact on the different DEXs and the OP bridge. Thanks to early detection, the contract was immediately paused by the founding team, preventing further damage.
