The last paper of my PhD got finally published in #FrontiersInSystemsNeuroscience. This work shows that optogenetics can be used to excite two separated neuronal ensembles along the ICC tonotpy (1) frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

(3) I want to highlight the performance of two great students, Adina and Jana (not on here) wo where extremely supportive and who worked very hard to support the whole project! Thanks also to @LabHildebrandt for the great support and mentorship over all these years.

(2) and that mice can discriminate between these two activation points in a freely moving change detection task. This is important as neuronal prosthesis in the central auditory system need to excite multiple tonotopic layers to receive frequency resolution.

You absolutely (!) need this as a postdoc too. @GArtofscience, your turn to fill it up.
