Imagine writing an entire essay condemning the assault… only to spend most of it blaming the woman who got attacked.
You admit she was standing there filming and not engaging so why are you bending over backwards to excuse the people who put their hands on her?
If your first instinct after a woman is assaulted is to lecture the victim instead of the attackers, your priorities are completely backwards.
Political disagreement is not justification for mob violence. Stop pretending otherwise.

I don’t support Savannah Hernandez (@Savsays) or the kind of propaganda she pushes with Turning Point USA. I’ve been critical of it and will continue to be. The vast majority of today’s protest was peaceful and went off without issues, with people showing up to make their voices heard. What happened later shouldn’t have happened. Savannah was filming, not engaging with anyone, and it escalated into a physical confrontation that ultimately gave law enforcement a reason to step in and declare an unlawful assembly, shutting the entire protest down. I’ve dealt with this myself. I’ve been confronted, had equipment damaged, and even had right wing agitators show up at my doorstep to threaten me. All I do is film. It’s not fun, and it doesn’t make anything better. I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating. During the height of Metro Surge, I let emotions take over in a moment involving a right wing propagandist and gave them exactly what they wanted. I got in their face, and I regret that. I have learned from it. My anger is better directed at the elite and powerful and not its pawns. We’re all human, and tensions are high as hell in this country right now. If the goal is to be heard, this is the worst possible outcome. It hands people like her exactly the narrative they’re looking for and undermines everyone who showed up in good faith.

Seems to me like Andrew is more upset about the protest being shut down rather than @Savsays being assaulted. You really do have a problem with women.

UPDATE: It looks like Paige Ostroushko has deactivated her Instagram account and is trying to scrub everything about herself off of the internet after her actions yesterday.
She and her father's entire social media accounts were called "MN ANGRY FATHER" and "MN ANGRY DAUGHTER".
The father, Chris Ostroushko, has blocked me on Instagram and it seems they are trying to do damage control after the entire family's violent actions yesterday.

@sterling_martin Pam would be wanting everyone arrested if rolls was reversed. Next weekend will most probably see everyone arrested or kept apart. No scrap that @PortlandPolice will just watch and arrest MAGA lot for just being there.
