I drink a lot of coffee, that's a fact I also realise that all the coffee being consumed across the globe does have a negative impact on the environment too - think methane and CO2 into the atmosphere... 1/3

Moon street. The Swedish word for the road-like reflection of the moon on water is mångata. It literally translates to "moon street" and is composed of the words måne (moon) and gata (street or road). Pronunciation: "Mawng-gah-tah". Photo taken at Whyalla last April. #BestOf2025

Coffee, anyone? This last week I've spent some time in Northern Thailand with the Hilltribe near Doi Chang and Chiang Rai. Here's 'Arjun' (teacher) showing me how he roasts his coffee beans that he grows on his sustainable farm. Slow coffee...

Tourists from 42 countries will have to submit five years worth of social media history to enter the U.S. under a new Trump Administration proposal. The plans to overhaul the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) – the application process for non-citizens to travel to the U.S. for vacation or business – would also make applicants provide additional information about themselves and their relatives and the emails they have used for the past 10 years. This would impact citizens of 42 countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea, who can travel to the U.S. without a visa, but must complete the ESTA application.

Absolutely bananas story: So I'm out at a jobsite. While gone, one of the new chicks back home got through a hole in the fence. Hawk scooped him up. Wife heard the commotion and ran outside. They are renovating the house across the street. Crew saw the incident. 1/3

I almost forgot to have a little brag 🙂 This photo of mine (entitled 'Risky business') achieved a 'Commended' award in the 2025 BirdLife Australia Photography Awards in the Human Impact category.

Im not pinning Vampires. I'm stopping a local plant extinction. Pultenaea stricta Native. A century extinct in wild in Warrnambool & only 2 other records in Moyne in last 20 yrs. Should be 1m tall & setting seed, but is illegally beheaded every summer. Enough.

Seriously, if you've ever tried to assemble IKEA furniture with the confidence of a YouTube tutorial and ended up summoning your neighbour with a hammer—this chapter gets you. Witty, warm, and wildly relatable. I’d read an entire book of this alone. 🛠️🌿📚 #DIYDisasters

Just read Chapter 14 of Christine's book and I'm HOWLING 🤣 “DIY Disasters & Home Projects Gone Wrong” is a chaotic, charming ode to Bunnings trips, flat-pack rage, and the fine line between Pinterest dreams and plant-based tragedy. @TheFoodGranny 1/2

@danbrewerradio Rhubarb and pear, with enough vanilla and cinnamon to wake a leprechaun? Definitely focus on the accompanying ice-cream before returning to the homework!
