The City of Kotzebue asks all residents to evacuate the area due to the incoming storm surge.
The KMHS Gym is open as a shelter. Call 907-442-3351 if you need help. Officials say you can shelter in place if safe.

Things are heating up in Alaska! Anchorage hit 53° today. That may not sound that warm, but it's the warmest we've been since last September, 205 days ago!
Normal temperatures are in the upper 40s, and we'll stay in the upper 40s and low 50s for the rest of April.
