@theartsyreader1 @BonnieReads777 That sounds like maybe they don't deal with criticism well. That it has nothing to do with you. As a reviewer, if you're noticing typos, that's a problem that could have been fixed in the editing process. The reality is, it does take away from the book if there are a lot of typos

@BonnieReads777 Oh yes I think 3 stars is a rating a lot view as highly critical. In my case the author was unhappy that I mentioned the book had quite a few typos and punctuation errors throughout, but it was something I noticed from page 1 and throughout and felt it was necessary to mention😞

How do you as a bookblogger deal with unpleasant replies to your book reviews by authors? I got a quite critical negative feedback from an author to a 4-star review I wrote, and have been feeling a bit down and pensive ever since. #bookbloggers

@weird_grrrl If you have decided that's what it will be, it absolutely will for you. Music is always up for interpretation by the individual. And if that's what you have decided you will look for evidence in the music to support that.

The “panic! at the disco song”(more like Brendon Urie’s shitty solo project wearing the costume of dead band)will be a guaranteed whine fest about being cancelled I can smell it. Why else is it called viva las vengeance? it’s pathetic on a whole new level.

@ZacharyLevi Yes! So much to this. It is a broken system that is no longer supported correctly or set up for kids. We have expectations for kids that aren't developmentally appropriate and teachers lack freedom to adjust for this (teacher here).
