A6: PPE, disinfecting supplies, office modifications, technology that supports social distancing and more should be eligible expenses for senior properties. HUD funding in the CARES Act and any future stimulus package should support these necessities. #OAM2020 #WhatWeNeed

PPE is still needed by housing & HCBS providers. The majority of the older adults live in the community & receive services at home. Little attention was given to direct service in the national efforts to supply PPE to protect seniors. #OAM2020 #COVID19 #WhatWeNeed #recovery4all

A4: Last month, more than 2,500 service coordinators reported providing 121,673 infectious disease wellness checks for older adults. All federally funded housing properties need access to SCs who can support residents through crisis and ensure basic needs are met. #OAM2020

A1: Older adults living in federally subsidized housing are at a higher risk of suffering dire consequences of contracting COVID. HUD Section 202 residents who are dually eligible have 5 or more chronic health conditions that make them more susceptible to complications. #OAM2020
