I saw this ad in Paris and it's a masterclass in creativity. Seriously, I can't get it out of my head. Being creative isn't easy. But it pays off. The internet belongs to those that let their imaginations run free. This new ad by Oatly is exactly this. Paris has this rule: ads on walls need to be more art than pitch. Oatly grabbed this rule and ran with it for their city debut. They splashed murals around town, masquerading as just another piece of street art. But wait for it... along comes an Oatly truck, lining up its load, and suddenly, the mural tells a whole new story. It's a clever, playful dance with the rules, showing Oatly's style while giving Parisians (and the internet) a wink. I'm not a fan of Oatly (more of a 2% regular milk guy), but it's a reminder that pushing the creative limits puts you at an unfair advantage. Oatly was able to spot what I call as "invisible opportunities". They saw an opportunity where others saw a limitation. They could have easily promoted their products like everyone else. And they they'd be like everyone else. Here's something for you to think about: In your space, there are invisible opportunities masquerading as constraints. The trick? Look where others aren't. The gold isn't in the problem; it's in the unique solutions only you can see. How do you push the limits on rebelling and fun? How do you GO BIG but in a punk rock way? People can feel that. Those stories resonate.
