@MelohRush Which I would assume leads to some deforming of that divide, be it faded into or treated as 'jetting out' of his shoulders.
In the time that we've had so many fairly accurate fan models, I haven't seen anyone make the leap to test it out themselves in a program ironically.

I mean, this was their idea/outcome of a more game-like design off the heels of that initial ugly design we had.
Along with that, they wanted something personalized for what was their essentially their OWN rendition of Sonic, so they stuck with their initial choices

@Justin61894350 Even if it looks "tank toppish" thats just how sonic looks. It doesnt make sense to me why that would be a reason for it "not working"
The clean start this is guess I could see but that still feels like a cop out imo

@MelohRush The connotation that comes with the peach arms is that you add the addition of the fur texture that they have and it can come off as potentially 'tank top-ish' or 'puffy' in the limbs, I assume.
Along with no longer having that clean start with the addition of actual shoulders.

Why would they specifically try to make the arms actual skin instead of just doing what they did the belly and muzzle

@MelohRush I personally wouldn't say that they'd look 'bad' honestly.
I think the unsaid indifference to them for this design is that a lot of people typically read sonic's arms, mouth & belly, as skin in the games design.
Smooth and clean cut at the start and bottom into the gloves.

reason it works for shadow is because he has those red stripes to help discern between the body & arm. Silvers white so the shadows alone make it easy but his energy aura when he uses his powets makes it easier too

@MelohRush I am pretty sure the effects are just fine and I don't have any trouble discerning what I see. I don't see this argument for Shadow or Silver.

@Justin61894350 That and no one has given me an actual explanation as to why the tan arms dont work or look bad. Every time I ask I either get the same thing repeated back or them just sayin they arent used to it.
I want to know why people say its uncanny but no one can answer that question

And im not saying people can't have a preference, im saying the reason they officially gave for the blue arms is lazy.

Every other character looks basically 1 to 1 with their game counterparts. Sonic just doesnt and I think that is a problem
