It’s actually sick how selective people’s outrage has become. You’ve got the whole world foaming at the mouth over the Epstein list and don’t get me wrong, they should be. Powerful elites abusing children deserves exposure, justice, consequences, all of it. But here’s the part no one wants to touch. Child exploitation doesn’t magically become acceptable because it’s wrapped in culture, tradition, or religion. It doesn’t get a free pass because calling it out might offend someone. A child is a child. Not a bride. Not a bargaining chip. Not a loophole. So why is it that when abuse wears a suit and flies on a private jet, everyone screams… but when it hides behind “that’s just how things are done,” people suddenly go quiet? That’s not compassion. That’s cowardice dressed up as tolerance. You don’t protect kids by picking your battles based on what’s socially safe. You protect them by being consistent, even when it costs you, even when it makes people uncomfortable. Because here’s the truth no one wants to say out loud: If you only care about abused children when it fits your narrative, you don’t actually care about children. You care about optics. And kids pay the price for that silence. So pick a side properly. Either all children deserve protection… or you’re just performing outrage when it’s convenient.
