@Melyntonin_ I use MKV. If OBS crashes, MP4 is gone/corrupt but MKV will have up to the last frames. Saved my butt a few times :)

Question for people who use OBS to stream and record... do you use MKV or MP4? I've been trying to record with MKV but I worry that it's taking alot outta my pc since its like they double record on top... but I worry that MP4 won't be good or record won't work on it... ;;
