To be able to make use of the new cutting-edge AI tech stack, $BUDDY is relaunching on February 11 on the new launchpad built by our liquidity partner, $BONSAI who have developed the tech. This move is crucial to pioneering their AI advancements and ensuring MemeBuddy becomes a powerful AI meme agent in crypto. But here’s what it means in practical terms: ➡️ $BUDDY Will Only Be Available on the $BONSAI Launchpad – Initially, trading will only happen there. ➡️ Graduation to Uniswap V4 on $BASE – Once we hit a $69K market cap, $BUDDY will officially migrate to Uniswap V4 on $BASE. ➡️ Snapshot Taken, Polygon Trading Halted – We have already halted trading on Polygon, pulled liquidity, and taken a snapshot of all holders. ➡️ Liquidity Buyback Before Launch – The liquidity we pulled will be used to buy tokens just before launch on the $BONSAI launchpad, ensuring a strong start. ➡️ Airdrop for $BUDDY Holders After Graduation – Once we successfully transition to Uniswap V4 on $BASE, current $BUDDY holders will be airdropped their tokens. The Necessary Supply Change To be able to use that allows us to integrate with the new AI tech stack and make MemeBuddy long-term bullish, we’re making a major supply adjustment which is mandatory on the the $BONSAI launchpad: 📉 New Total Supply: 1 Billion (instead of 420 Billion) 🔗 Still Paired with $BONSAI on $BASE 💡 Everyone (Including Founders) Will Be Diluted We know this means every holder, including the team, will see a lower percentage of the total supply. But this is a necessary step to scale MemeBuddy into a fully autonomous AI force in the Crypto space. We’ve always been committed to our community—through the ups and downs. While this transition requires tough decisions, we’re doing what’s necessary to take MemeBuddy and $BUDDY to the next level. What else will change? While you will still be able to tag @MemeBuddyMaster on X, Lens Protocol, and Farcaster and get a meme in reply, we are simplifying the setup and removing the campaigns. This means customized memes are no longer available on social media and Telegram, but it's necessary to keep things simple to make sure operations are running smoothly with the new autonomous set up. We may introduce alternative incentives for staking in the future but nothing is planned regarding this yet.
