@MurrayHillGuy1 I’ve heard some experienced guys say that social network dating is complicated and low ROI The high ROI part is you get a very fulfilling social life - around beautiful women all the time but date 1 girl n the rest in the group are off market for you

I'm seeing a lot of more attractive dudes with less attractive chick pairings lately, and I have a hypothesis as to why… Girls who are 8s & 9s aren't on dating apps to actually date; they meet men via irl social networks (NYC/city social scene, college, friends of friends, etc) That means the hottest women on the apps (who actually go on dates & use it for more something more than ego inflation) are 7s However, male 8s & 9s use apps Therefore, male 8s & 9s lacking in access to irl social networks (e.g., greek life & mixed-sex friend groups) meet the bulk of their potential mates on apps. Especially if the dude moves to a new city after college or is so busy at work that he lacks time to build social circle Plus dudes are less discerning about who they fuck and consequently get trapped into relationships by less attractive women Am I wrong?

@MurrayHillGuy1 Yep. The hottest women are IRL only and you’re correct that they most of them already have their circles. That being said, if you have enough social clout you can get yourself into the door via Instagram. But other than that, unless you have a warm intro, you’re out of luck.

Never follow a pessimist. You may as well follow a witch. With a witch you at least know that they are going to cast curses or hexes. The pessimist curses unknowingly. Optimism is not about delusions of grandeur or a blind eye to truth. It is rooted in finding and clinging to certain ironclad convictions and knowing that there is always a way through or that there is always benefit in an outcome, no matter how dire or grievous a situation appears or is. The optimist speaks blessings an refuses to surrender. The pessimist speaks curses, and rolls over for his enemies. Hopelessness turns you into a coward. Hope gives you courage.

As you get older, you really start to lose patience with Nietzsche's "Look at me! I'm SO different from the classic philosophers! I INVERT their teachings! Aren't I bold and cool and daring!?!?" No, Friedrich. I'm so very over that spell of yours. I was over it in my 30s. The only question that matters is Socrates' question: is it true? Nietzsche is like one of those modern artists who thinks "being good" requires "being original," and then won't make the best art he could, because it is "too similar" to some other artist's work. Do you think Aquinas cared that he frequently "sounded just like" Aristotle? No, and you shouldn't either. You should be much more worried about the question "Why don't I sound like Aristotle here? Where did I go wrong?"

@EveKeneinan @Memeszis well, except for the part about aristocratic-radicalist discipline, selective breeding, and training to resist the great leveling of all singular excellences and visions into universal[-ized,-izable, -ist] slop that came with the Christian-Platonist philosophical world..

Nietzsche is, at bottom, a Heracleitean, and aims to dissolve all things into flux. This is unsurprising as his thought comes on the heels of Kant and Hegel. He rejects the Western synthesis, carried out by Plato and Aristotle, that sees being as tiered between a Parmenidean realm of stable and intelligible form and a physical-material world of motion and change. He wants to dissolve Platonic-Aristotelian intelligible form back into the flux of becoming, and with it dissolve stability, knowledge, and truth.

I was relatively young when I watched this. I remember the rush of power, imagining the restrictive bonds of the past being broken. But it left me feeling hollow and empty until I saw the next film, after which I totally disregarded the sequel trilogy. Liberalism in a nutshell.

This moment in Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) was when I knew the postmodern deconstruction of our culture was reaching its apex. It’s hard to believe now that this was a real scene.

Men admire in women masculine virtues (self-accountability, logic, composure, self-command) expressed through feminine embodiment - not as an imitation of man, but as a refinement of character. Women admire in men feminine virtues (empathy, tenderness, intuition, receptivity) expressed through masculine embodiment - not as softness without toughness, but as completeness. So each sex seeks the best of its own principle integrated in the opposite, their natural polarity preserved but elevated. Men and women are thus seeking the best of themselves in their opposite in stable contrast - a marriage within so there can be a marriage between - recursive union - what beauty!

I need to emphasize here that the load-bearing columns of the Retard Right are not their political beliefs. Those are a symptom. Their central attribute is rotten character and a complete lack of loyalty to anyone other than themselves. The fundamental problem with people like Nick Fuentes and his ilk are that they are psychopaths. Here we have proof that Fuentes sold one of his friends out to the SPLC to settle a grudge. His political beliefs are an outgrowth of his revolting character. If you can't be loyal to your friends, you can't be trusted with anything else. Unsurprising that these people turned on Trump at the first opportunity, or spiraled into mental illness after snorting a little JQ, like it's the NECRONOMICON. Fuentes could apologize for doubting the plan and jump back on the Trump Train tomorrow. I still wouldn't trust him to make a cigarette run because he'd still be the repulsive little psychopath who doxed his own friends to the left to settle scores. Same goes for Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, the entirety of the Retard Right. They're people who would sell their own mothers into slavery for Taco Bell coupons. I'm a pretty tolerant person. My social circle over the past few years has included hardcore Jewish Zionists to a Muslim convert who referred to Israel as "Is-Not-Real" to literal Marxists. The thin red line connecting them was loyalty, friendship, quality of character, all of which are more important---and more conducive to friendships and relationships---then political agreement. I can rely on all of them to have my back in a fight and I'd do the same for them. People like Fuentes can only be relied on to sink a knife into your back.
Jaden McNeil@JadenPMcNeil

Internet archives show Nick Fuentes was encouraging the SPLC to spread the dox of his former assistant because he's "dead to him." The same dox he's now claiming is proof that he's "at war with the SPLC."

Trump really did diagnose a certain psychological type when he famously said "We will win so much you may even get tired of winning!" So many people on here have internalized a totally defeatist and colonized mindset, totally incapable of getting out of it - they want to lose.

Obama was the zenith of American progressivism. The hundred-year project Wilson started in 1916 was nearly finished. Now they're watching it collapse in under a decade, because Donald Trump said it's time to get tough. They must be so demoralized (We're not even close to done).

I think everyone should have a draft email ready to go. If you’re laid off, you can quickly add the date and send it to leadership and HR, and copy the Department of Labor’s H-1B and Wage and Hour Division. In it, state that you want to be considered for any roles that match your background, skills, and duties, regardless of job title, before the company hires H-1B workers or proceeds with PERM roles. You can also request copies of LCAs filed over the past year, including both primary and secondary worksites. If a layoff is tied to foreign labor hiring, I’d expect that kind of email to get attention. More importantly, it creates a record, puts the employer on notice, and helps protect the worker. I get that in the past we all felt like we couldn’t do things like this for fear of being blacklisted. But it’s time to face the reality.. if you’re American, you’re already being blacklisted. And if we don’t do something, our children won’t even make it onto the list!
