The past has ceased to exist. The future has not yet arrived. All that is really here is the present instant. How thick should that instant be?

@AdvaitSalokhe :) Just that I have so much to say and get such little time to say it all. I was busy creating Maya. Now the first book and the game are done. Both will be out very soon. Work on the first Maya film has begun. I will put all my other ideas out on YouTube and Substack this year.

I have been thinking through many counterexamples and boundary cases, and have been resolving them all in the essay. Those of you who know me and my work know that I publish these ideas straight to films and games. This time, I’d like to publish them sooner.

Life audits. The expensive machinery persists only because it earns its keep, in choosing from a menu of options. This, not that. Now, not later. Intelligence is the shovel. Reality is the mine. Agency is the wealth.
