My first reaction when i read it was that it’s a great idea to show other players how you guys balance competing and traveling while having a kid—my mind didn’t even go to you guys exploiting your child because i just know that’s not something you would do.

I would never exploit my child for content and I hope anyone who has seen my posts on X / FB / IG knows this. My DMs are open if anyone ever has any concerns - I don’t think that a quoted tweet wasn’t warranted from Mahone. To each their own, and hopefully the message was more sincere in nature than how I originally took it. I never stated the content I was gonna create, and still don’t even know that it’s something I wanna do - especially now. We spitballed a few ideas of how we pack Camille’s diaper / toy / snack bag for events, how we deal with being travelling parents at events, and how we vet nanny services to make our family safe while we play in events. It was never a plan to make Camille “do stuff for the views” or to logo her up to make some $$$. The Pokemon life might seem like all glamour, but it isn’t as lucrative as one might believe - hence why exploitation has never even crossed my mind. I make conscious decisions for Camille, Michele, and myself for our family - becoming rich off my child isn’t part of my “master plan”. I just love travelling, and I know that Camille and Michele enjoy the perks that come with that too. Ain’t no video about my child is gonna pay the thousands upon thousands for our South Africa trip - but it would be cool to showcase how we do it, as parents, to show other parents that it’s possible. Anyways, I’m a little heated rn, but it’s honestly something else that will pass soon. I appreciate the love and support and again cannot stress enough that I WILL NOT EXPLOIT MY CHILD FOR CONTENT. Family > everything and so much more than that. If anyone hasn’t noticed that I’m doing everything I can to work on my poor mental health since Camille’s birth to be there as long as possible for her and Michele. I’d do anything for my family, and would never ever put them in any kind of harm.
