Here are my reasonings for S tier, not complete but just the general reasoning: Anna: best 50/50s and poke in the game, unseeable mixups Nina: df12, massively safe on a lot of things despite getting good rewards (wallsplatting mid mid safe) King: df2, best counter hit tool in the game, safe, hit confirmable, tracks really well, delayable Law: Heat nunchucks safe on block with massive pushbock, bajillion strings, good panic moves, recovers his entire heat bar on combos Heihachi: Best heatsmash in the game, wallsplat or floor break on hit, guess for your life oB at the wall because it's a 50/50 wallsplat, warrior instinct is free wins Devil Jin: Can do mixups from any range, range 3-4 uf1 or ff2, best wavedash 50/50 because of launching hellswep and homing mid launcher +oB in heat Hwoarang: Infinite plus frames and flowchart, ss4 ch launcher, safe on block Jun: way too safe on everything she does, cancan, b1+2 is yoshi's flash if it was safe, insane damage Leo: b1,4 (no real human is going to consistently step left after b1), df2+3 being a CH low launcher with high crush while being only -11 oB is insane, safe strings everywhere, df2 that launches with an insane range Claudio: losing with this character is a choice Bears: highest winrate in ranked, plays like zafina/xiaoyu, gclef launcher, generally just braindead while having good damage (wall combo into butt) and +frames Yoshimitsu: spin, flash, 500 moves and you're just helpless if the yoshi player knows how to play Lee: insanely safe pokes while having the utility of CH launching you at the same time if you press wrong, df1 into df1 into df1 into d3 boom you get ch launched, +2 oB Homing MID CH launcher, ff3 is genuinely unsteppable outside of practice tool, toxic spike enders with insane damage

@koenjideck @RichardWinz it's what the video says tho, not very performant to get done deterministically. but i was by no means smart, so i rocked with it. animation remains as the most needy aspect of the game simulation

@koenjideck @RichardWinz the hitboxes are generally offset from the root player position, though some are attached to limbs. mix of both character hurtbox is based on calculating the world space positions of every limb by rebuilding the skeleton from each joint's transform

The issues for rollback in 3D fighting games, and a solution.
