@bexsayswords I've been metal detecting for something like 25 years now. I always tell people it's usually about what you might find, not what you actually find. Do it long enough and you get some good stories!

I got a metal detector for Xmas (childhood dream!) and I was thinking about how it’s 99% searching and finding trash and maybe 1% of the time you find something incredible. So great though - the hunt, the anticipation, the pay off! Later realised that’s my PoE brain at work lmao

@bexsayswords I shared this with my wife and she legit snorted laughing. Meanwhile our 4 year old has learned "damn it", so we have that going for us.

Ok gonna finally force a mental health day off, lvling as thorns warrior has me pretty low on brain cells after reading chat. Will be back tomorrow more powerful than ever and clear the game as thorns (or reroll soon cuz... thorns)

@ZiggyDStarcraft I would wager large amounts of currency that rarity as it currently is doesn't survive beyond the first couple patches that come in January. That and end game improvements/changes are probably top of list, with crafting updates a close 3rd.

definitely concerned that rarity seems to be stronger than ever in PoE 2. Already seeing people replacing runes with magic find and running mf affixes instead of power based ones. The top players can get away with it but it causes most of us to struggle and play weaker content.

People talking about gear based Rarity / Magic Find in Path of Exile again. My 2c: It's always been lame. Even back in Diablo 2. You should never be encouraged to lame-ify your gear to get better loot. You should be encouraged to use the best possible and get MF from content.
