I'm heading out to Menorca at the end of the month - hoping there might still be a promotion play-off game to get to! It will be my first visit for several years so looking forward to hopefully getting around to some grounds, and getting hands on some shirts & memorabilia!

It's play-off final weekend! CE Ferreries host CE Alaior on Sunday (6pm) with the winner heading to the RFEF Tercera promotion play-offs, along with league champions CD Migjorn.

🏆 CD Migjorn are Menorca League Champions! 🟢⚪️ They sealed the title with a 1-0 win over nearest rivals CE Ferreries on Saturday. It's their second title in three seasons.

CE Mercadal's match today seemingly abandoned around half time - seen reports on social media it was the police that evacuated the ground thus forcing the abandonment 😳

Two of the players involved in this incident have been suspended for a total of 26 matches 😳 Villacarlos player 12 matches, Sporting Mahon player 14. Sporting Mahon coach also suspended for two-months. Both teams receive a one-match stadium ban.

⛈️ The storm at the weekend led to three postponements in the Menorca Honor Division at the weekend. Plus CE Mercadal's match in Tercera Division was postponed, meaning they have now gone three consecutive weekends without a game.

Game between Atletico Villacarlos and Sporting Mahon was abandoned at the weekend due to this near the end (believe it carried on beyond the video). FFIB have issued a lengthy statement condemning the 'aggression and violence' - it's a major issue on the Balearics at present.
